The Armenian lobby prevents the installation of Atatürk's monument in Prague.

Axar.az reports that Egemen Bağış, the Turkish ambassador to the Czech Republic, informed about this.

According to the ambassador, at first, an agreement was reached on placing a statue of Atatürk in the park adjacent to the embassy building, but at the last moment, the Prague administration did not give permission citing the "1915 massacres".

Bagish said that the installation of Atatürk's statue was prevented by the Armenian lobby, the PKK and the Gulenists.

The ambassador said that work is being done to resolve the issue.
