Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, who is hiding in a bunker, has cut off all electronic communication due to fears of assassination.

Axar.az informs that the New York Times reported this.

"He is only communicating with military commanders through one of his most trusted contacts. He has begun preparations to flee to Russia in the event of a coup," the report said.

According to the publication, Khamenei has previously designated people who could replace high-ranking commanders if they are killed, so that the continuity of military command is not disrupted.
