The State Law Affairs Commission of the Armenian Parliament approved the ratification draft of the Rome Statute.

Axar.az reports that the Armenian press published information about this.

According to the information, after short discussions, the commission gave a positive opinion to the project.

It should be noted that the ratification of the Rome Statute stipulates the implementation of the decisions of the International Criminal Court. The ICC issued a warrant for the arrest of Russian leader Vladimir Putin on March 17.

Armenia's persistent efforts to ratify the Rome Statute are observed with serious tension in Yerevan-Moscow relations.
