This is not just a war between Israel and Hamas. Israel is fighting for the whole civilized world. We are determined to stand against this evil.
Axar.az reports that Israeli President Isaac Herzog said these words in his address to Jewish communities around the world.
"After the massacres, we saw a terrible rise in anti-Semitism around the world. This fact revealed a close connection between anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment," he said.
Herzog also emphasized that he hoped for "the best".
"Sisters and brothers, from my window in Jerusalem, despite everything, I see a flourishing Israel. As I speak, our sons and daughters are on the front lines fighting to protect us in military uniform. All Israelis show remarkable care for each other. Jewish communities around the world are mobilizing with unprecedented energy. I receive offers of support and solidarity from all over the world."
