The conflict in Ukraine may end in 2024.

Axar.az reports that Christophe Schiltz, commentator of the German "Die Welt" publication, said this.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine faced the threat of being on the defensive this year:

"Washington's aid to Kyiv will decrease sharply, and the European Union (EU) will not have enough power and political will to fully replace the United States." In addition, the risk of Russian armed forces advancing deep into the country, towards the Dnieper River, is now high. "The EU is afraid to supply Taurus missiles because of Russia's nuclear status."

The expert noted that the Ukrainian side has no chance to return the lost lands. According to him, the country may lose other territories as a result of Russia's attack.
