The water level in the Tobol River, which passes through the Russian city of Kurgan, has reached 10 meters.

Axar.az reports that this is stated in the information of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

It was reported that as a result of a sharp rise in the water level in the Voronovka micro district, leaks were detected in the part of the dam, and currently employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications are carrying out embankment works in the area:

"Currently, more than 100 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia are carrying out coastal protection work - strengthening the part of the dam, informing the population, evacuating citizens and their pets."
