Turkiye will closely monitor the implementation of the decisions regarding the PKK’s disbandment and disarmament.

Axar.az reports Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the statement during a briefing with journalists.

“The terrorist organization must lay down its arms, and the disbandment decision must be fully implemented. We will closely monitor the execution of the decisions made,” said the Turkish president.

“Recep Tayyip Erdogan desires peace and prosperity not just for himself, but for his country and the region,” the president added. “This must be clearly understood. Economic growth in the region will be accompanied by a peaceful environment. The lives of my people in eastern and southeastern Turkiye will undergo a profound transformation.”
