The European Parliament will discuss the draft resolution "On attempts to restore the law on foreign agents in Georgia and restrictions on civil society".

Axar.az reports that the voting on the resolution will take place on April 25.

The authors of the resolution believe that the European Union should impose sanctions against all members of the Georgian parliament who support the law "On Foreign Agents".

The European Parliament also intends to impose sanctions against Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder of the Georgian Dream Party, and ruling party members, if the law "On Foreign Agents" is adopted in Georgia.
