Kyiv refused to sign the agreement initialed by the parties in Istanbul to ensure peace between Russia and Ukraine under direct pressure from London.

Axar.az reports that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this.

Peskov said that there are no forecasts for the negotiations at the moment.

"Because everyone knows Ukraine's position of not accepting negotiations. That's why the special military operation continues."

Also, Peskov added that the opinion of President Vladimir Putin regarding the Istanbul negotiations is known to everyone:

"Putin stated that the agreement reached in Istanbul between Russia and Ukraine could be the basis for the renewal of peace talks."
