Baghdad will become the place where negotiations will be held for the purpose of normalizing bilateral relations between Syria and Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that a government source in Damascus told "Al Watan" newspaper about this.

According to the report, the upcoming Syria-Turkiye meeting will be the beginning of a long negotiation process, which is expected to lead to political understanding and agreements on the situation in the border areas.

It was stated that the parties will have to discuss all the details in order to return the relations between the two neighbors to normal, to the previous level.
