After a 6-year break, South Korea has resumed firing exercises at ranges near the border with North Korea.
Axar.az reports with reference to Oxu.az that the exercises were held in Kyongido and Kanwondo provinces with the participation of "K-9" self-propelled artillery units.
Earlier, North Korea conducted a test launch of a new type of ballistic missile "Hwasongpho-11Da-4.5". The new missile is a tactical ballistic missile capable of carrying a 4.5-ton warhead.
Note that on June 4, South Korea decided to completely suspend the implementation of the de-escalation agreement signed on September 19, 2018. This decision was taken after North Korea released balloons filled with garbage again.
