Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. They discussed future talks between Ukraine and Russia.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky announced on his Telegram account.

According to Zelensky, they discussed the main details of the meeting between Ukraine and Russia to be held in Turkiye. He expressed his gratitude to Erdogan for his support and desire to develop diplomacy at the highest level.

The Ukrainian President noted that the need for a ceasefire is urgent at the moment. It is also necessary for the partners to ensure control over the ceasefire regime:

"We are ready for direct talks with Putin. All of us need to work together in Europe to ensure long-term security. We will be in constant contact with America. We agreed with President Erdogan on future joint work for the sake of peace."
