President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated the people of Turkiye on the self-destruction of the PKK terrorist group.

Axar.az reports that the head of state said in a post on his X social network account: "I sincerely congratulate all the brotherly people of Turkiye, including my dear Brother, President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the decision of the PKK terrorist group to self-destruct and lay down its arms.

This event, which is an important stage in achieving the goal of "Turkiye without terrorism," declared by my dear Brother, is the result of the determined policy pursued in the country on the path to statehood. It is a triumph of strong leadership and unshakable will, national unity, and solidarity.

I wish the Turkish state and people success in the full implementation of the decision taken."
