Labor came to power: will Britain change?

As expected, the Labor Party in Britain achieved a complete victory. Its leader, Starmer, will become the new prime minister.

Axar.az reports that Russian political scientist Sergey Markov said this while commenting on the victory of Labor in the parliamentary election in Great Britain.

“The paradox is that they voted Labor in the first place because they were opposed to the policies of the Conservative Party, but the Labor Party seems to be implementing basically the same policies as the Conservative Party. No one can understand what the differences will be. Labor leaders have not and are not saying anything concrete at all. In the past, the Labor Party had been subjected to large-scale political purges for the sake of the interests of the oligarchy and the establishment. We identified everyone who is against supporting Ukraine and Israel," he said.
