Information about the language used in the telephone conversation between the President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the new President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian has been released two days ago.
Axar.az reports that commentator and journalist Azer Mahdevan wrote about this in his X account.
He said that at the suggestion of Masud Pezeshkia, the presidents spoke through an interpreter.
"During the phone conversation, Erdogan asked Pezeshkian whether we should speak Persian or Turkish from now on?" In his answer, Pezeshkian said that Azerbaijani Turkish may cause difficulties in mutual understanding, it is better to speak Persian. They spoke in Persian through an interpreter," Mahdavan wrote.
It should be noted that although the social media asked questions about the language used by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Masud Pezeshkia during their phone call 3 days ago, no answer was given.
