At Rostov NPP, radioactive isotopes with a radioactivity of up to one and a half million curies were released into the atmosphere.

Axar.az reports that "Insider" has published information about this.

Currently, the radioactive cloud is moving across the country, in the direction of Saratov. Despite the fact that radioactive substances are 75 times higher than the norm in the open air, it is reported that the accident and its consequences were hidden by the state authorities.

It should be noted that the work of the second power unit was stopped three days ago due to a steam leak at the NPP. A day later, power unit No. 1 of the station was connected to the network.
