The Acting U.S. Ambassador to Russia, Stephanie Holmes, has been summoned to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry's press service provided this information.

It was noted that the diplomat was protested against regarding U.S. journalists' illegal entry into Kursk Oblast without informing the Russian side and their activities there.

The ambassador was also informed that foreign mercenaries illegally crossing the Russian border are a clear target for the country's military.
