Russian publicist Ponasenkov labeled as foreign agent

Russian publicist and presenter Yevgeny Ponasenkov has been designated a foreign agent in his country.

Axar.az reports that TASS reported that an unscheduled audit of Ponasenkov's activities revealed various forms of foreign influence. From April 15, 2022, to April 14, 2023, he made multiple trips abroad, mainly to Italy, and produced materials critical of Russia.

Additionally, it was noted that Ponasenkov repeatedly called in his videos for Russia to align itself with the government systems of EU countries.
