Trump ends NBC 'Meet the Press' interview early -

US President Donald Trump abruptly ended his interview with NBC News’s Kristen Welker on Friday after the two discussed his unfounded claim that the California gubernatorial primary was “rigged.”

Axar.az reports, citing foreign media, during a lengthy interview in Wisconsin that aired Sunday on “Meet the Press,” Trump repeated his false claim that the 2020 presidential election was rigged and said “it’s happening again right now” in California.

“It’s [been] four days and they aren’t even close to coming up with the [results],” Trump said, referring to California’s slow vote-counting process.

When Welker asked the president if he had evidence that the race is rigged, he replied, “All I have to do is look.”

The president then said that election officials in California are “crooked,” along with Welker and her media colleagues.

Welker replied, “To be fair, I’m not crooked,” attempting to move the conversation along.

“Your elections are crooked and you’re crooked and ‘Meet the Press’ is crooked,” he continued.

“And so is ABC and CBS and CNN. You’re [a] one-sided crooked network.

Sorry. Let’s call it quits because I’ve had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time,” the president added before taking off his microphone and tossing it to the ground.
