US Mint to release Donald Trump $1 coin this fall

The United States Mint will release a President Donald J. Trump $1 coin into circulation this fall as part of the country’s 2026 Semiquincentennial celebrations.

Axar.az reports, citing the US Mint, that the obverse features a portrait of Trump with the inscriptions “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “1776–2026.”

The reverse features the Presidential Seal and the number 250, marking the 250th anniversary of the United States, along with “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “ONE DOLLAR.”

According to the report, 250,000 coins were struck on July 4 with a special “July 4th” privy mark. These coins have been randomly included in bags and rolls available for purchase from the Mint.

The coin will also be available for purchase in bags and rolls exclusively through the US Mint.
