Before Israel's attack on Iran, Iran had four S-300 missile systems, the most advanced of which was integrated into Tehran's air defense system, but all were destroyed.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Wall Street Journal, citing Israeli sources.

It is noted that after U.S. President Joe Biden succeeded in convincing Israel not to strike Iran's nuclear facilities and oil infrastructure, Israel managed to deliver a significant blow to Iran despite limited targets.

Journalists state that Israel's airstrikes not only destroyed crucial military infrastructure in Iran but also tarnished the reputation of Russian military equipment.

According to U.S. and Israeli officials, Iran's Russian-made anti-aircraft systems managed to intercept several missiles fired from 100 Israeli fighter jets. Among the losses suffered by Iran during the strikes was also three S-300 air defense systems from Russia. Earlier this year, Israel had targeted another of Iran's S-300 systems.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli military conducted airstrikes on Iran on October 26. The airstrikes were carried out from a distance of 2,000 km using more than 100 modern fighter jets, including F-35s.
