Polish President Karol Nawrocki has said it is “just a question of time” before the US establishes a permanent military base in Poland and suggested that it could be named Fort Trump.

Axar.az reports, citing NVP World, that speaking to Bloomberg in New York on Tuesday, Nawrocki added that he hoped construction would be completed before US President Donald Trump leaves office in 2029, adding that necessary infrastructure is already being prepared.

“When the work is finished by the US administration, by both governments, I think then President Trump will personally be able to participate in the inauguration of Fort Trump,” Nawrocki said on the fringes of the UN General Assembly in New York.
