Russian rapper GeeGun, whose real name is Denis Ustimenko-Weinstein, opened fire on security guards and domestic staff at his home in the c region.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the incident took place in early July but only became public now.

According to the report, GeeGun held his employees hostage for several hours. The incident took place in front of his children.

The rapper armed himself with a Saiga-9 carbine and, dressed in the style of the Rambo films, called his staff into the living room. He accused them of various crimes and demanded that they confess.

GeeGun believed the staff were his enemies and accused one of the security guards of pedophilia. He held a gun to the man's head, forced him to confirm the accusation and then gave him five seconds to escape before opening fire. The guard was wounded in the arm and leg.

The incident continued for around 10 hours. During that time, GeeGun's children hid in closets and informed their mother, blogger Oksana Samoilova, who was in Milan at the time and immediately flew to Moscow. She later confirmed the incident to journalists.

Neighbors who heard what was happening called the police, security personnel and GeeGun's friends to the scene in an attempt to calm him down. However, he attacked anyone who tried to approach him.

GeeGun was eventually restrained. The incident was covered up, after which the rapper was sent to an expensive rehabilitation center in Israel, where he is said to remain under observation.
