Russia extends flight restrictions over Israel and Iraq

The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency has extended the NOTAM (Notice To Air Missions) until November 24, advising domestic airlines to fly over Israel, Iraq and Iran only from 9:00 to 19:00 Moscow time.

Axar.az reports that "Interfax" has published information about this.

It was reported that the Federal Air Transport Agency initially advised airlines to avoid flights to the countries in question, as well as through their airspace. Later, the department relaxed the restrictions and allowed flights from 09:00 to 19:00. The restrictions were valid until November 3.

It should be noted that there are direct flights from Russia to Tel Aviv and Tehran, Russian airlines fly to the UAE through Iran, and to the Seychelles through Iraq.
