Newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump is likely to continue hostile Policy toward Iran.

Axar.az reports that Iranian political analyst Mehdi Seyf Tabrizi told TASS that Trump will likely continue his adversarial policy against Iran in his first term as president.

"Let’s see if Trump has learned from the past. He will likely persist with the misguided 'maximum pressure policy' against Iran. His choice of figures like Brian Hook, Marco Rubio, and Elise Stefanik for his team already indicates his approach," he said.

He added that the current Washington administration, under President Biden, also adhered to this unsuccessful strategy, and Tehran has observed no significant shift in U.S. policy toward Iran under either Democratic or Republican administrations.
