UK tests SPEAR mini cruise missile

The first controlled launch of the "SPEAR" mini cruise missile with a range of more than 100 km, developed for the British Armed Forces, was successfully carried out.

Axar.az reports that the British Ministry of Defense released information about this.

According to information, the missiles can be used to fight against the enemy's air defense systems, ships and tanks. It is planned to install up to eight of them on F-35B fighters.

The first launch was carried out in Sweden by "Typhoon" fighters.
