Thousands protest over government's EU decision in Tbilisi

In Tbilisi, thousands of people gathered again in front of the parliament building as a sign of protest against the government's latest decision.

Axar.az reports that demonstrators raising the flags of Georgia and the European Union have already blocked Rustaveli Avenue, where the parliament building is located. They demand the resignation of the government.

Police forces line up in front of the legislature.

It should be noted that yesterday the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, said that his country has suspended EU membership negotiations until 2028 and has refused grants. After that, the opposition started large actions in Tbilisi. President Zurabishvili also participated in the action and claimed that a constitutional coup had taken place in the country.
