Turkiye cannot turn a blind eye to events happening in a neighboring country with a 910-kilometer border.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made this statement.

"I want to say this very clearly: We have no eye on any country’s land. As Turkiye, our wish is for Syria to achieve the peace, stability, and calm environment it has been yearning for over the past 13 years. Our Syrian brothers and sisters have endured very difficult times and paid a heavy price for it. Nearly one million Syrians have lost their lives due to attacks by the regime and terrorist organizations," Erdogan said.
