An "Artificial Intelligence Squad" is being established in the Armenian Army.

Axar.az reports that this was announced in a statement released by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

The statement noted that a competition has been announced to develop high-tech solutions for the defense system, ensure their effective implementation, and utilize the skills of conscripts serving in active military duty more efficiently.

"Conscripts of the 2024 winter draft can participate in the recruitment competition for active military service in the '1991 Battalion's' Artificial Intelligence Squad in the following specialties: robotics, information engineering, data analysis, and statistics," the statement said.

It is worth noting that the name "1991 Battalion" itself reflects Armenia’s ongoing aspirations for revanchism.
