The leader of Syria’s new administration, Ahmed al-Sharaa, has requested U.S. support on two issues.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Israel’s "Kan" television channel.

Al-Sharaa's first demand to the U.S. was for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the border buffer zone and the Syrian side of Mount Hermon.Israeli officials told the outlet that they have received no official request on the matter.

His second request pertains to the U.S. sending humanitarian aid to Syria.
