The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (MFA) expressed its condolences to China regarding the devastating earthquake that occurred in the city of Shigatse.

Axar.az reports that the MFA has shared a post on its social media account.

"We are deeply grieved and saddened by the devastating earthquake occurred in Shigatse, China. We convey our deepest condolences to friendly China, the bereaved families of the victims, and wish a speedy recovery for those who are wounded and affected by this calamity," the post said.

It should be noted that as a result of the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Tibet, the number of dead has reached 126 people, and 188 people have received various degrees of injuries.
