Syria’s Ahmed al-Sharaa to visit Turkiye

The leader of Syria's new administration, Ahmad al-Sharaa, is expected to make his first official overseas visit to Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that according to Turkish media, this visit was initially scheduled to take place earlier, was postponed because of adjustments in the agenda.

Al-Shara is expected to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

It is reported that Ahmad al-Shara will thank Turkiye for the downfall of Bashar al-Assad's government.
