Erdogan and Aliyev talk about relations

The President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on January 8.

Axar.az reports that the Press Service of the President of Azerbaijan has released information about this.

During the telephone conversation, bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, and regional and global issues were exchanged.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that the cooperation between our countries will develop in all areas based on the principle of "One nation, two states". The President of Turkiye said that his country fully supports the achievement of sustainable peace in the South Caucasus region, and said that it will always stand by Azerbaijan.

President Ilham Aliyev, in his turn, said that Azerbaijan-Turkiye relations of brotherhood, friendship, and strategic alliance are developing according to the principle of "One nation, two states" and emphasized that our countries are always by each other's side.

During the telephone conversation, views were exchanged on the development prospects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries in 2025. The heads of state also mentioned the issue of continuing contact.
