International flights have resumed at Damascus International Airport in Syria.

Axar.az reports that AFP has provided this information.

It was noted that for the first time since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad, international flights have resumed at Damascus Airport.

According to the report, a Syrian Airlines aircraft took off at around 11:45 a.m. to fly to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
