US Leads Humanitarian Aid to Armenia with Over $44m in 2024

In the first ten months of 2024 (January-October), Armenia received $84,188,800 in humanitarian aid, which is 4.2 times more than the same period in 2023.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the information provided by the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

The majority of the humanitarian aid sent to Armenia in these ten months was in the form of chemical products and related industrial goods, amounting to $63,386,800. This is 5.2 times more than the same period in 2023.

The largest humanitarian aid came from the United States: $44,583,400, which accounts for 53% of the total humanitarian aid sent to Armenia in the ten-month period.

Germany and France occupy the second and third positions, with $8,158,700 and $3,660,200 in aid, respectively.

It is worth noting that humanitarian aid has also been sent to Armenia from Switzerland, China, Italy, India, and other countries.
