Iran's military potential serves defense purposes and ensures national security.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during his visit to the Aerospace Industrial Complex of the Ministry of Defense.

According to him, the government fully supports the development of the country's defense industry:

"There was a time when our enemy could freely attack us. During the war with Iraq, we had unrestricted access to our land and airspace, which allowed them to act as they wished. Iran's modern military advances now ensure that the country is no longer vulnerable to external threats or ambitions. Our enemies can no longer subject our people to missile strikes and bombings, as they did in the past. What we see here today is the embodiment of Iran's defense power, designed not to attack others, but to defend the country."
