Four female spies who were recruited by Ukrainian intelligence to carry out terrorist attacks against high-ranking Russian military officers and sabotage fuel and energy complex facilities have been detained.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by the Public Relations Center of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).

"The activities of four female spies recruited by Ukrainian intelligence to carry out terrorist acts against high-ranking officers of the Russian Ministry of Defense and sabotage fuel-energy facilities in Sevastopol, Voronezh, and Rostov-on-Don have been prevented," the statement said.

It was noted that the detained individuals had undergone training in Ukraine on handling firearms, mines, explosives, and controlling UAVs.
