If the talks in Doha involving representatives of Israel and Hamas are successful, US President Donald Trump may declare a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Monday.

Axar.az reports, citing foreign media.

As the newspaper noted, the decision on the ceasefire will depend on whether Israel and Hamas can reach an agreement after indirect talks in Doha. If the parties to the conflict resolve their differences on certain aspects of the agreement, Trump will declare a temporary ceasefire, call on Hamas to lay down its arms and release all hostages.
