Unidentified UAVs have been observed over an air base near the city of Husum in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany.

Axar.az reports that the German Ministry of Defense has released information about this.

According to the information, from January 9 to 29, a total of "6 security incidents" involving professional unmanned aerial vehicles of unknown origin occurred over the Schleswig-Holstein air base.

The German Air Force base houses a training center for air defense units. In particular, military personnel are trained in the use of the Patriot missile defense system. Ukrainian military personnel are also trained at the center.

It was reported that an investigation is currently underway on suspicion of espionage.
