The doors of the “3+3” regional format remain open for Georgia, and representatives of this country always have the opportunity to join the discussions.

Axar.az reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said these words in his speech in the State Duma.

According to him, the current leadership of Georgia takes into account the national interests of the country, and the “3+3” format (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Iran, Turkiye) meets the interests of all participants.

The minister said that at the last meeting held within the framework of the format, a decision was made to give this mechanism a more structured character, which will increase its effectiveness.
