In just 90 minutes, three federal judges issued rulings against President Donald Trump, blocking key policies from his second term.
Axar.az, citing CNN, reports that in Washington, D.C., Judge Loren Ali Khan struck down Trump’s federal funding freeze, calling it “irrational” and “catastrophic.” Judge Amir Ali ordered the administration to immediately pay contractors and nonprofits for work completed before the freeze. Meanwhile, in Washington State, Judge Jamal Whitehead halted Trump’s suspension of refugee admissions, ruling that it exceeded presidential authority.
These setbacks highlight the legal challenges Trump faces, with over 80 lawsuits targeting his early executive actions. While some cases have favored the administration, courts are increasingly scrutinizing the legality of his policies.
