Turkish singer Ercan Saatci released in municipality case

Turkish singer and famous artist Ercan Saatci, who was detained as part of the corruption and terrorism operation against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, has been released by court decision.

Axar.az informs Turkish media reported this information.

It was also reported that Ahmet Palazoglu and Alihan Aydin, who were detained during the investigation, have been released as well.

The 57-year-old Ercan Saatci was detained in connection with concerts organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

It should be noted that Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu and other suspects are under investigation for alleged crimes, including “leading a criminal organization,” “membership in a criminal organization,” “corruption,” “bribery,” “fraud,” “illegal acquisition of personal data,” “bid rigging,” and “aiding the PKK/KCK terrorist organization.”
