Russian President Vladimir Putin and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan had a telephone conversation.

Axar.az reports that the Kremlin released information about this.

Russia expressed gratitude for the active mediation assistance provided by the UAE in implementing the prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine.

The leaders discussed the current development of the Russian-American dialogue aimed at finding ways to peacefully resolve the Ukrainian conflict and normalize bilateral relations between Moscow and Washington. Nahyan expressed his support for the efforts made by Russia and the United States, and in particular welcomed the consultations of expert groups of the two countries in Riyadh today.

The parties agreed to continue close coordination in the OPEC+ format.
