Highly qualified foreign specialists are exempt from taking exams in Russian language, Russian history, and basic legislation.

Axar.az reports that this is mentioned in the materials of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is reported that such specialists enjoy several benefits: they can bring their family members with them to Russia and can obtain simplified residence permits for both themselves and their close relatives.

Law enforcement officials clarified that such specialists are issued work visas for the duration of their work permits, but no longer than three years. Furthermore, employers do not need permission to hire and employ these foreign workers.
