UN hopes for US-Iran talks

We hope that the US and Iran can agree to negotiations with the help of mediators.

Axar.az reports that the official representative of the UN Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, stated this.

He stated that the UN is concerned about the growing tension between the two countries:

"We also welcomed the news of the possibility of indirect negotiations through a third party."

It should be noted that Oman has offered its mediation as a third party.
