A 5.8-magnitude earthquake jolted off Indonesia's Central Sulawesi province on Tuesday night.

Axar.az reports that the information was released the country's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency.

The earthquake occurred at 9:53 p.m. Jakarta time (1453 GMT), with its epicenter 42 km southeast of Parigi Moutong regency at a depth of 91 km.

They also noted that no tsunami warning would be issued, as the tremors were not expected to trigger any large waves.

There are no reports of casualties or damage.
