If the dialogue is conducted with respect, we will continue the indirect talks in Oman.

Axar.az reports this was stated by Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani at a press conference.

She added: “Our criterion for holding negotiations is national interest. However, since the talks have not yet begun, the details are not clear. What matters to us as a negotiating party is an equal approach, attention to national interests, and the improvement of the people's conditions. In this regard, we will pursue reasonable negotiations."

It should be noted that yesterday, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that direct talks had already started and would continue on April 12. While Iran confirmed the upcoming meeting in Oman, it emphasized that the talks are "not direct."
