At least 38 people were reportedly killed and 102 injured in a U.S. airstrike on a fuel port in Yemen, according to Houthi-run media.

Axar.az, citing Sky News, reports that the strike, part of a continued military campaign initiated under Donald Trump and maintained by Joe Biden, targeted Houthi forces in response to their attacks on Red Sea shipping lanes.

The U.S. says the strikes aim to weaken the Houthis’ economic power, not harm civilians. The Houthis claim their attacks are in protest of the war in Gaza. The U.S. has not confirmed the reported casualties.
