A telephone conversation took place between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to the information, the leaders discussed the Indian attack.

Erdogan noted that Turkiye supports Pakistan's restrained policy in this process and that the proposal to conduct an impartial, transparent international investigation into the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir is appropriate.

Erdogan said that Turkiye is ready to do everything in its power to prevent an escalation of tensions.
