Peace talks between Russia and Ukraine proposed by President Vladimir Putin will take into account the situation "on the ground" as well as the negotiations of 2022.

Axar.az reports, citing Interfax, this was stated by Russian Presidential aide Yury Ushakov.

"With this in mind, and of course, taking into account the real situation," he told reporters in response to a related question.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia is proposing to resume the direct talks with Ukraine, which were interrupted in 2022, without any preconditions, on May 15 in Istanbul.
